Hi, I'm Captain Vanessa Martin, owner of Nauti-Girl Charters. My charter service is located in Oak Island, N.C., half way between Myrtle Beach and Wilmington. I have been fishing the nearshore reefs and backwaters waters here for about 16 yrs or more. My passion is flounder fishing! I won the ladies division of the Wildlife Bait & Tackle Tournament 2 years in a row and have won numerous awards for Flounder, King, Dolphin and Spanish in the yearly O.I.F.C. tournaments. I do not offer off shore charters but am no stranger to off shore fishing! I was the first lady president of the Oak Island Fishing Club and also served as secretary for 2 yrs. I teach womens fishing siminars for the parks and rec. dept. on Oak Island and also teach at childrens fishing events. I was also the manager of Ocean Crest Pier for 5 yrs and was on the board that organized the first US Open Pier Tournament. I hold many citations for Flounder, and also King, Wahoo, Striper  and sheepshead. As you can see I LOVE FISHING! I am also very proud to be among the few women Captains! Even though catching fish is never a gaurantee, I will do my best to put you on them. I can gaurantee that if you love being on the water, you will have a great time.
